RESOURCE CONNECTION

Connecting Resources With Resources

Community outreach is at the core of our program services. Dot 2 Dot Resource Connection and Daughters of Zion United, a sister company, coordinates the day-to-day provision of access to resources and necessities for residents who reside within crime hot spots and works collaboratively with entities and other resources on behalf of the under-served population.

We are intentional about helping children and families link with needed resources and services bridging the gap of exposure to opportunities by connecting the population we serve to needed resources in the community. Additionally we provide single mothers with mentoring, training, coaching, and other resources needed to succeed.

We have been able to provide families with rent assistance, food vouchers, and PPE supplies.  We are working with schools to identify families lacking internet connectivity and work to provide 1:1 equipment in the hands of students in need.

We are currently in the planning phase of expanding our services to include mental health resources.

DAUGHTERS OF ZION

AT A GLANCE

A Distinct Identity

DOT-2-DOT RESOURCE CONNECTION and DAUGHTERS OF ZION are statewide nonprofit organizations with IRS status as a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt public charity established in September 2015. D2DRC and DOZ know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2015, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together with our youth, families, and our community, we could overcome any challenges more efficiently and effectively by organizing. It was determined that a solid structure would help us build capacity to reach our local communities through service, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch DOT-2-DOT RESOURCE CONNECTION and DAUGHTERS OF ZION.
